2) A very original, with the exception of the wheels, 1970 Marlboro Maroon Corvette having a born with numbers matching drivetrain. The car has a 350/300 engine with an m-20 4-speed transmission and is non-running due to long term storage (engine stuck). The transmission has 0 miles on a total rebuild (new bearings, new syncros, new cluster gear shaft, new main drive gear, new gaskets and seals, and new thrust washers). The car has tinted glass, driver quality chrome, and the doors and hood close nicely with the exception of the driver's door which only opens from the inside which indicates broken linkage rod. Replacement rod is included. The car also has a number of the original parts including glass, outside mirror, carburetor, working am/fm radio, air cleaner, engine shielding, expansion tank, radiator, distributor, water pump, starter, exhaust manifolds and all of the original clamps, brackets, clips and various support pieces that get lost over the years. Alternator might be also. As a point of information, 1970 Corvette 300 h.p. cars were not factory equipped with A.I.R. systems, so it is not missing, it just never had it. The dashboard and dash pad are in good condition and rest of the interior is servicable, but to be nice in the long term you want to change (rugs, door panels, seat covers). The exhaust system along with the brake calipers have been removed from the car but I have the calipers. The frame is solid but will need sandblasting and painting. Typically, the bolt in cross member under the radiator will need replacement (used $100-125) and the core support (used $125- 175) because of rust issues. Mileage stated may or may not be accurate. 71,327 miles. August 2, 2010. 1) It does not run and drive due to not having brakes and hasn't been started for a while. The engine is the original 350ci 300hp it turns free with a 4 speed trans. This car is very complete it has (975) Marlboro Maroon Exterior which will need paint along with a (400) Black Vinyl interior. This car has a good bird cage and a Nice frame. Would be a great car to do some work to and use as a driver. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is F02. April 30, 2010. |
